It didn’t sound like the sexiest proposition we ever had but we still jumped into bed with them feet first.
At the time, it didn’t have a name, a design, a tone of voice and there wasn’t a single penny to pay us. It was a classic sweat for equity promise.
From day one we were involved in the naming convention, brand identity, from website design and copy with a distinct brand voice. We created mood films for seeding and investor rounds, we created social posts, We helped launch a company, build a brand (injecting lots of yellow!) and held our breath as the first eve mattress went on sale in February 2015.
Within two years the branch launched in several markets and IPO-ed on the AIM board of the London Stock Exchange.
